Valve Spring Height Micrometer; Range: 1.400" to 1.800" (for most 4 and 6 cylinder engines) ("Hite Mike")
Measure installed valve spring height conveniently and accurately. You install the "Hite Mike" just like you would a valve spring, installing the retainer and locks. Expand the tool until it has seated the valve. The seat pressure against the retainer results in precise readings. The tool is then read like a micrometer and is accurate to .001".
