Lightweight Rod Bolt Stretch gauge. Ever wonder why rod bolt manufacturers supply stretch factors as well as torque settings? Well, it's because stretch is the most accurate way to measure fastener pre-load. Our blue anodized aluminum Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge is designed to actually hold itself onto the rod bolt while it's being tightened. The included .001" mini dial indicator has been modified with a super high tension spring for superior holding power and precision. Our lightweight stretch gauge also features an adjustable anvil to accommodate rod bolts up to 2.750" in length.
